Description

An active electrode string used for acquiring high-impedance EEG data from children and adults.

Uses

  • For electroencephalography (EEG) and Event Related Potentials (ERP) recordings.

Specifications

  • 32-channel active Ag/AgCL electrode bundle with separate reference and ground electrodes.
  • 4 sizes of caps ranging from child (52cm) to adult (58cm).
  • Impedances are measured via ActiCap control software and displayed using LEDs at each electrode.

Details

The string was purchased from Brain Vision, LLC in Spring, 2017. The active electrodes amplify the EEG signal at each electrode, allowing for recording at higher impedance levels while maintaining high-quality, low-noise data as well as a reduction in preparation time.
