Welcome to PSU! Chandlee Laboratory is in the middle of campus across from Old Main. See the maps below for location and parking information.

Note: You must enter from the east side of campus. Due to construction, once you reach campus, please still follow the access instructions below.

See the below map for the full directions coming from Bigler Road (the College Avenue side of campus), followed by step-by-step instructions. Note that you must enter from the East side of campus. This is the side where University Drive is located.

IMPORTANT: Follow the below steps in order.

1. Coming from College Avenue, turn RIGHT on Shortlidge Road to enter from the east side of campus.
2. Because part of Pollock Road is closed for construction, please approach campus from the EAST side. Do not try to reach Chandlee from Atherton or the west side of campus, as there is a gate that will block you from reaching Chandlee.
3. Drive along Pollock Road until you reach the HUB-Robeson Center. There is a gate here. The gate should be open/up; you do not need a pass to proceed.
   
4. Just past the HUB, look for a sign that says “Road Closed”. Turn RIGHT here onto Chandlee’s access road (see photo below).
   
5. Follow this access road and turn LEFT. You may see blue construction fencing along the way – this is normal, and the road stays open for you to drive through.
   
6. The parking lot for Chandlee will be on your LEFT (see photo below). Pull in, and park in one of the two spots on your right that are reserved for SLEIC.
   

If you are participating in an MRI experiment, consult with your experimenter where they will be meeting you.

On the day of testing, then the investigator will meet you there and will explain the details of the experiment.

• Come dressed in loose, comfortable clothing without metal fasteners (e.g., t-shirt and sweatpants). Clothing should be 100% cotton (no metallic threads).
• Please do not wear bras with metal fasteners or underwires (sports bras are recommended).
• All metal, magnetic and electronic articles, including jewelry, must removed before you enter the scanner room (lockers are available to store your belongings)

If your experiment is after 5:00 pm, Chandlee Laboratory will be locked. Please contact your experimenter to enter the building. You can also come to the back entrance of Chandlee and push the intercom button to let the investigator know you have arrived.

If you are lost or running late or need to reschedule, contact the your experimenter rather than the imaging center.
