The workshop is intended for faculty, post-docs, and graduate students who may have an interest in using MRI as an experimental tool. The three-hour workshop will provide a conceptual overview of this neuroimaging method and will cover basic concepts such as:

  • an overview of available facilities at SLEIC
  • a conceptual introduction to MRI
  • basic experimental design considerations for imaging studies
  • a conceptual overview of data processing and analysis
  • resources to enable you or your trainees to learn more
  • lunch!

This free workshop is sponsored by the Social Science Research Institute (SSRI) and open to all Ph.D.-level scientists and their grad students at Penn State.
